BITS

A collection of loopable 8-bit songs/themes/ditties for use however you please. For free.

I composed them with LittleSoundDJ (LSDj) on a GameBoy emulator running on a Raspberry Pi Zero in a RetroFlag GPi case.  The audio was recorded straight from the headphone jack with minimal post-processing to increase overall volume. It's as close to true 8-bit as I think it can get. Not the faux-8-bit made with modern software and plug-ins (which is perfectly fine!). As it is coming straight from the hardware, there are some audio artefacts present throughout. I think that adds to the retro feel.

They are presented in no particular order, named only for the vague vibes they give off, i.e. a boss fight. They mostly consist of a main and secondary theme, which repeat a few times. All are loopable.
